Mosaic Monday with Small Flowers

I took Little Bit and Doodles to the park the other day.
They love playing on the monkey bars
pretending they are traveling miles for some great adventure.
Little Bit and I love looking at the small things in wonder.
We came upon the knoll and noticed all the tiny flowers in bloom.
She wanted to take the first picture of these great wonders.
Isn't she a little beauty? This flower was no bigger than
the tip of my little finger. Little Bit has a great eye
for photography. She, on her own, singled out this
little beauty and took the first shot.

She also took this picture...and then she was off with
her sister to play on the monkey bars. Doodles was
not interested in taking pictures. She was ready
for a good game of chase with the other kids.

I stayed with the little treasures in amazement, looking
at their delicate pedals and thanking God
for all the little things that He brings to my attention.

These flowers were hardly as big as the tip of my pointer finger!
But they made a BIG impression on me and Little Bit.
I was glad to have the moment with her.
I had a hard time getting these to come into focus.

But finally managed with this shot! They were so tiny...

This one had a little friend visiting...I didn't notice the ant until
I reviewed the pictures. I thought, well I'll be darn;
not a bad shot.
It was a GREAT day at the park.

Let someone know you love them today!

Here's to your health!

I would like to join Little Red House today for Mosaic Monday.
You should pay her visit. She has the most amazing
photos and such a great person.

I will also join in for Sunlit Sunday with My Little Home and Garden.

  1. Beautiful photos, Brenda! I've often pondered these precious beauties, and have written about them. Most would think they are insignificant and walk over them, but those who have an eye for beauty, no matter how small, have the eyes of God.

The clover flower is really pretty, and the white ones look like miniature lilies. Thank you for this close up version. LOl...I think I still have one from last spring in my photo file. Never featured it.

    Blessings,
    Marianne

  2. It's easy to see where Little Bit gets her photographer's eye. Her pictures -- and yours -- are wonderful. These are beautiful macros.

  4. Brenda,
I like your photos. You must have a good camera. I'll have to get another one of these days. The yellow bloom reminds me of a pumpkin bloom for some reason.

  8. That was lovely, Brenda. Taking the time to enjoy the tiniest pleasures is one of my favourite things to do. I love that you're teaching the little ones to recognise and enjoy those small pleasures.
