Everything
we say produces an effect in the world.
Whatever
we say to someone else will produce
some
kind of an effect in that person.
We
are constantly creating something,
either
positive or negative with our words.
Our
words can make a positive difference
on
the people we interact with every day.
Before
we speak, we should ask ourselves
"Is
what I am about to say
going
to uplift the hearer?
"Will
it inspire, motivate, and create
forward
momentum for them?
Will
it dissolve fear and create safety and trust?
Will
I create a positive or negative ripple effect
by
speaking these words?"
Let's
be determined to unleash
the
power of words
for
positive change.

Oh, I wish I'd seen this yesterday ;) Such true words, Brenda. And I totally can relate to them since yesterday at work I seemed to have caused a ripple effect. Someone at work got snippy, and instead of handling it at the moment myself, I went and told a co-worker (while thinking to myself that I shouldn't do this), and it got her ire up, and she went and said something to the person. Learned two things yesterday, maybe three. Always willing to learn.
ReplyDeleteThese "Angel Says" are great.

Love this today! We just got through talking about how our words can kill a soul or bring life to a soul in ladies bible study! Timing on this post is perfect! Thanks for sharing. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
