I was so exhausted yesterday after getting in from work.
I made my way to the couch and was waiting for my
husband to come through the door. He was
running errands so I knew I had a few minutes
to myself and I just needed to catch my breath.
They say that if you can lay down for at least
30 minutes it will refresh you enough to
finish your day. Well, I was able to rest
30 minutes and then my husband came through the door.
We talked about our day and decided to skip
our exercise class and just go to dinner and
make it an early night. We made the decision
to go somewhere we could get a wonderful
salad so off we went to Jason's Deli.
They have a wonderful organic salad bar.
We have our dinner and then return home.
I decided to sit at the kitchen table to look
through our mail and guest what I found?
A package from Micupoftea from Poetry in a Pot!!
My husband did not say anything to me all evening
that I had received a package in the mail.
Shawn (aka Micupoftea), had not only given me
the tea box that I had won in her giveway,
but she had also added one of her beautiful cards
with Irish tea and Ruby Red Chai tea bags tucked
on the inside pockets.
The card is just so beautiful.
And the colors that she used are my favorites!
Shawn has also a tutorial on how to make the cards.
I like to think that I am the first to get one of these
lovely artful creations. She has done a FABULOUS work.
I so love it, Shawn.
She also wrote me a personal note.
There's no problem in visiting, Micupoftea!
You have a delightful blog and I enjoy
my visit every time!! I think everyone should
Look at this beautiful sprig she placed on top of the box.
It smelled DIVINE!!
And she even personalized the back of her card.
I just felt so special.
This picture doesn't do the card justice! Terrible shot, terrible lighting.
But these are the pockets where she put other special tea...for me!!
As you can see, I tried taking a good shot of the tea bags.
Maybe I was just too tired.
And as for my husband forgetting to tell me
that I had received a package in the mail;
well, I decided to take the advice on the box,
keep calm and have a cup of tea...
Thank you, Shawn, for such a wonderful gift.
Each lady has a very unique style. Pay them a visit
and enjoy a cup of tea.
Here's to your health!
