It's FALL for Tea Time

I LOVE the feel of the Fall air, so delicately brushing up against my cheeks this morning. I truly loved the walk into work for the Fall air was very gentle and the humidity had hidden itself. The smell of the fresh air was so soothing that I just wanted to turn around and head somewhere else to enjoy this day. But that couldn't be allowed, so I continued the trek breathing deep and smiling, hoping that the evening would be just as inviting. It gave me something to look forward to.

Days like today are wonderful for sitting by the water.

Or maybe just hanging out feeding the ducks, relaxing and enjoying the day.

Doodles got the most amazing set of Legos for her birthday.

We had a wonderful time putting it together.

It was such a cute little sweet shop with the most precious little people.
I'm sorry the shots are blurred a little. I guess the shinniness of
the tiles make it a little weird.

Doodles said that I didn't get a good shot of the girl in the door,
so I took another one.

This is the top view of the little patio. Do you see the cupcakes?

Here's a side view. Now do you see them?
This was the most awesome set.  I have always had boys. (I have
three sons.) All the legos that were bought was for boy stuff.
This GIRL STUFF is awesome!!
Doodles said that she enjoyed it so much more when we
put it together TOGETHER! That my friends is PRICELESS!
We did have fun putting it together and enjoyed playing
"The Little Sweet Shop." We got out some of the men legos
from the boys set, so she had plenty of customers.
One day I will show you the finished set.

Now on with my wish list!!

I am so drawn to the Aynsley China. I don't think I have seen
a set yet that I don't like. Here is a favorite I found today.
You can hit on the picture to make it bigger for
better viewing...

Just look at this beautiful set! I love the deep gold and
brilliant red. The beautiful roses just bring a smile to your face,
doesn't it? Both the tea cup and saucer is signed, "Ja Bailey."

Now this one put a BIGGER smile on my face! I love the
cobalt blue!! This has a fruit arrangement inside
with the peach as the feature.

As part of the Fruit Series, here's one with the pear.
I just LOVE Aynsley!!

So let's join Sandi, Terri, and Martha for tea today!

Here's to your health!

I would also like to take the time to remember those
that were affected by 9/11. May God continue to
comfort you and keep you safe, ALWAYS!
My heart and prayers go out for you.

  1. That is a cute sweet shop...it brings back memories of the sweet shop at the bottom of our hill. I developed many a cavity from there, but it was fun at the time. I'm sure the Lego variety is more molar friendly...col..

Oh, the Ansley teacups/saucers are so pretty. You're so wonderfully funny with your 'wish list', I know an Ansley will be popping up in your home in no time because of it!

Blessings for an Ansley, and everything you desire in your beautiful Life,

What a fun toy to play with, and how special that the best part is sharing the experience!

Aynsley is one of my all time favs as well. You can see why right here! Those two sets are great examples of Aynsley beauty. Works of art really! I have a few myself and I truly enjoy them.

  7. Girls having fun and the idea of putting legos together is priceless! The girls legos is so cute! I love Aynsley, too. These are both gems and it would be hard to pick my favorite. I have the Pembroke pattern and I love collecting all the different pieces especially one being a colored teacup and saucer similar to the fruit series.

    Thanks, Pam

to see your granddaughter playing with Lego brought many memories to me. Lego was our favorite toy in childhood. They have added so many girls fun in the last years. That shop looks great and I would love to play with the muffins. Your tea cups are really treasures. They are luxury and look very pretty. Thank you for sharing this wonderful pictures and for your sweet comment on my tea time.
