Some Signs of Autumn

Yesterday was a very beautiful day.
Living in the South, you have to watch
for signs that Autumn is here...

like acorns falling from the trees.

Then you can play with them as much as you want.

Another sign is...

Season's Greetings are shown all over the place.

So you get the idea?
Let me show you one more sign...

You might see a decoration like this sitting around my house somewhere.

I couldn't pass them up. They are so cute.

BUT
the BEST THING about Autumn or anytime of the year...!!!

You guessed it! MY GRANDDAUGHTERS!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Veterans Day yesterday.
I would like to salute my father
for his service in the Army.
I also give my gratitude to all the others that serve
and help keep this Country free.

I would like to join Mary at The Little Red House
for Mosaic Monday (glad you are safe
and sound, Mary, after that terrible storm, Sandy).
I will also join Lisa from
Lisa Chaos for Macro Monday.
Both are awesome sites to visit.

Here's to your health!

  2. The picture of your parents is wonderful. My post had to do with WWI. The photos look so different between the wars. Precious granddaughters. I have only one and five boys, so I really do spoil her. Your photos are wonderful. Fall is definitely here. genie

  5. I love acorn, they're such happy little faces with their hats on their heads. I haven't seen the white kind of acorn...that's truly pretty and interesting.

    I'm glad falls finally here.

  12. I popped over here from Marianne's current Kare & Mare post to see what you're up to and wondered, 'autumn?' And then I realized this is an old post. Hope all is well with you! Take care - way to go with working out at the gym (your comment on Marianne's post).
