Welcome to Memory La La Lane

Welcome to Memory La La Lane, where you can freely stroll, reminiscing about all the good and the bad days gone by.  Hopefully we can learn from the past, pass on blessings from the good, and make wonderful friends along the way.

One remembrance I have is that when I was young, it was easier for me to stay in shape and lose a few pounds when I needed to.  Those are wonderful memories of being carefree, loving life, and enjoying the movement of my body.  Now that years have gone by (since I have come out of the La La stage, life has caught up with me) and I need to lose some weight. The things that I did back then just do not work for me now.  My body does not accept the foods that I use to eat in a kindly manner and the exercise only causes my back to hurt.  No matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to drop the weight! The thing of it is, I DON’T FEEL OLD!! So now I have to find new ways to help me in this venture of losing some weight while making new memories with new friends that will last me a life time!

Through this venture I will take my measurements, weight, and a “Before” picture.  I will not share them with you at first, but as I progress, the information will be posted and we will celebrate together.  If you have suggestions, I would LOVE to hear them.

So share your memories with me and let’s be friends.

  1. Oh, Brenda, I'm sooo excited your blog is up and going! You are beginning a remarkable journey and I am looking forward to hearing about your progress - what fun!

I think most of us can relate to your above sentiment.

I love your blog's theme background. Did you know that the hummingbird symbolizes renewal, vitality, infinity, and much more. It reminds us to seek out the sweetness and good in life, and I think that's exactly what you are doing.

Congratulations, and smooth sailing, my friend.
