To my dear granddaughters:
The man that will FLATTER you
will tell you things that you like to hear, but he is NOT
sincere in his heart.
The man that will COMPLIMENT you will tell you things
that he feels in his heart are true, with respect for you.
The man who SPENDS MONEY on you,
wants to only impress you with things and will
expect something back from you.
The man that will INVEST in you, values the person
you are and will take time to know you without
expecting anything back from you.
The man that views you as PROPERTY,
only wants what he wants and does not think of your needs.
He will be controlling and watch your every move.
The man that will view you PROPERLY,
has respect for you and can see your value.
The man that will LUST after you,
only wants to use you for only his pleasure.
The man that will LOVE YOU, will love you as you are.
The man that believes he is GOD's GIFT to women
will view himself as the most important person
and will put his wants ahead of you.
The man who REMEMBERS a WOMAN was
GOD's GIFT to MAN, will love and take care of you
for the rest of your life.
Don't forget to teach your sons to be this kind of man.

Beautiful, Brenda! I never really could tell the difference. I always thought someone meant what they said (unless they were very transparent). I suppose not being desperate for anything is another key to 'seeing' clearly in relationships.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was young with little children, I don't think I thought much about how important my job was... I know that I did the best I could ---and all three sons turned out to be men that I am proud of...
